Dig Deep Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre company operating out of Los Angeles/Santa Clarita, CA. We have a passion for telling stories that DIG DEEP and get to the heart and soul of what it means to be human: whether through a comedic lens or a more dramatic piece, we tell stories that comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. As an actor-led company, we also aim to inspire other actors to create their own opportunities, rather than sit around waiting for those opportunities to come.
Dig Deep was born out of the COVID-19 pandemic, starting on ZOOM. Our ZOOM reading of Proof by David Auburn was the first ZOOM play produced in Santa Clarita, inspiring many other companies to do the same. We continued on ZOOM through the lockdown, with readings of The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams and All My Sons by Arthur Miller. In 2022, we produced our first in person, staged production of Barefoot in the Park by Neil Simon.
